(AOV) stuur die HERE ‘n engel, en dié het al die dapper helde en bevelhebbers en owerstes in die laer van die koning van Assirië verdelg, sodat hy met ‘n beskaamde aangesig na sy land teruggegaan het; en toe hy in die huis van sy god kom, het die wat uit sy eie liggaam voortgekom het, hom daar met die swaard neergeslaan.

(ASV) And Jehovah sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty men of valor, and the leaders and captains, in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth from his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

(IBIS) Lalu TUHAN mengirim seorang malaikat yang membunuh prajurit-prajurit dan perwira-perwira Asyur itu. Dengan sangat malu kembalilah raja Asyur ke negerinya. Pada suatu hari ketika ia sedang di dalam rumah dewanya, beberapa dari anak-anaknya sendiri datang membunuh dia dengan pedang.

(TKK) RAB bir melek göndererek Asur Kralı'nın ordugahındaki bütün yiğit savaşçıları, önderleri, komutanları yok etti. Asur Kralı utanç içinde ülkesine döndü. Bir gün kendi ilahının tapınağına girdiğinde de oğullarından bazıları onu orada kılıçla öldürdüler.

(Vamvas) Και απέστειλε Κύριος άγγελον, όστις ηφάνισε πάντας τους δυνατούς εν ισχύϊ και τους άρχοντας και τους στρατηγούς εν τω στρατοπέδω του βασιλέως της Ασσυρίας. Και επέστρεψε με κατησχυμμένον πρόσωπον εις την γην αυτού. Και ότε εισήλθεν εις τον οίκον του θεού αυτού, οι εξελθόντες εκ των σπλάγχνων αυτού εθανάτωσαν αυτόν εκεί εν μαχαίρα.

(Viet) Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn sai một thiên sứ diệt những ngýời mạnh dạn, các quan trýởng và các quan týớng ở trong trại quân của vua A-si-ri. ngýời trở về trong xứ mình, mặt hổ thẹn; và khi ngýời vào trong miễu thần mình, có những kẻ bởi lòng ngýời sanh ra ðều lấy gýõm giết ngýời tại ðó.
